This is one of the most beautiful children's books I've ever seen. I met the authors at an ALA conference the year this was published and the authors told us how much fun they had hanging out with the snowman and photographing the animals that came up to see it and sometimes take a nibble. I have no idea how many copies I have given as gifts to little ones I know. It's a wonderful gift.
